BUDDHA GIRLS

BUDDHA GIRLS

This series provokes reflection on spirituality, identity and unity beyond superficial appearances.

By depicting Buddha in female form, i.e. by altering his traditional image, I remind us that the true nature of the soul transcends gender identities.

The line between reality and illusion is blurred here.
Is this a real woman or an artistic representation?
This ambiguity reminds us that perception is subjective.

One thing is certain: this image embodies the beauty, grace and depth of feminine spirituality, while transcending the limits of individuality.

Ultimately, this series of works invite us to meditate on our own spiritual journey, our inner transformations and our quest for truth.
Perhaps we are all in the process of becoming something greater than ourselves.

CLONES

CLONES

This series explores identity and anonymity in the digital age, raising questions about self-representation and concealment.

The female characters and their doubles evoke the tension between visibility and invisibility. The colorful brushstrokes, which add an abstract dimension, express the complexity of self-expression in modern society, especially for women.

The use of blur suggests a reflection on how we present ourselves in the digital world, and questions the fragility of identity, the difficulty of grasping it.

In short, these works invite us to reflect on our relationship to ourselves and to others, as well as on notions of intimacy, social mask, vulnerability and power.

DOLLS

DOLLS

In this series, I juxtapose black and white with bursts of color to symbolize the conflict between a structured reality and an emotional, chaotic inner world.

For some pieces, it's a visual dialogue between a woman (with a doll face) and her doll about the maturation and transformation of personal identity.
These young Asian women represent contemporary identity confronted with tradition and history symbolized by their dolls.

More generally, I want to show the tensions between past and present, between cultural heritage (black and white) and modern individualism (bright colors)... to bring out the beauty of the women in the end.

A journey into the dark and light corners of the soul.

BEAUTY BOOTS

BEAUTY BOOTS

Boots, especially when worn by women, evoke for me strength, determination and the ability to face challenges. A symbol of empowerment.

The image of feminine boots can reinforce the idea that women are able to walk with confidence and leave their mark on the world.

This series explores beauty in the ordinary, with an abstract and dynamic touch.

By playing with reality and perception, I invite the viewer to see beyond apparent simplicity: how beauty and art can exist in everyday life if we're willing to see them.
